About Dr. Kumasresan

Dr. Erin Kumaresan is a board-certified pediatrician at Village Pediatric Group in Tuckahoe, New York. She enjoys getting to know her patients, and their families, and partnering with them to improve their health.

Dr. Kumaresan is a native New Yorker who grew up in Manhattan and the Bronx. She has lived in Westchester with her family for 6 years now. She received her undergraduate degree in biomedical education from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education (now CUNY Medical School). She received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical College and continued her residency training there. She worked as a general pediatrician for Montefiore Medical Group in the Bronx for 3 years.

Dr. Kumaresan is an American Academy of Pediatrics Fellow. When she is not working, she enjoys singing with her church’s choir, hosting friends and family at home, and keeping her daughter entertained.
