About Dr. McGowan

Heather Andrea McGowan, MD, is a caring board-certified pediatrician serving patients at Village Pediatric Group in Tuckahoe, New York. With over two decades of experience, Dr. McGowan has demonstrated her expertise in children and adolescent care and looks forward to seeing her patients grow and thrive.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Dr. McGowan received her undergraduate degree in biology and her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1997. She completed her internship, residency, and chief residency at North Shore University Hospital in 2001.

Since 2001, Dr. McGowan has been in private practice in pediatrics and adolescent medicine in Southern Westchester. Her diverse interests lie in asthma and allergy, pediatric nutrition and obesity, and adolescent health. Dr. McGowan is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also an affiliate of New York – Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, New York.
